My most recent past has been spent as independent consultant for a variety of companies. My engagements have included the following assignments:

• Prepared financial projections and cost analysis for an Internet start-up. Assisted in presentations to venture capitalists.
• Designed accounting and cost estimation systems for a network installation company. Trained bookkeeping staff.
• Prepared financial projections and numerous "what-if" scenarios for a real estate start-up later sold to a national mortgage company.
• Evaluated web site for Internet company with global operations. Recommended site revisions and improvements. Engaged as CIO for more than two years.
• Assisted in analysis and testing of PeopleSoft inventory control system installed for an office products manufacturer. Developed system to quickly analyze variances between physical inventory and PeopleSoft system.

My experience prior to establishing my consulting practice includes:

• Controller, and later CFO, of a national real estate referral network for ten years. Responsible for all financial reporting, monthly reports and quarterly reports to the board of directors. I also was responsible for cash management, annual budgets, strategic planning, acquisition reviews and due diligence, and negotiations with banks and other lenders. Established and managed 401k plan and all other benefits plans.
• Controller of two start-up companies of an international investor. Established all accounting procedures and systems, prepared monthly and annual financial statements under UK GAAP, prepared cost estimates for fixed price government and private contracts, prepared over 15 state income tax returns and federal tax return. Negotiated the sale of one company.
• Controller of a fast food and amusement operator with operations on the New Jersey shore and Adirondack Mountains. Established accounting procedures, managed cash flow, provided analysis on acquisitions, prepared franchise reports, and prepared tax returns.
• Senior Auditor with an international accounting firm. Clients included banks, not for profit organizations, manufacturers and service companies. Participated in annual audits, quarterly reviews of public companies, acquisition reviews, and SEC filings.
